Presented by the dean and chapter of Exeter in 1602.
Provenance
On fol. 291 is a Latin note that fifteen persons (among them Henry Brum, John Port, Will. Attevill) deposited this book with three others 'in antiqua cista' no doubt at Oxford, on Oct. 31, 1390 (?).
On fol. 6v is 'Precium istius libri xlvj. s. viijd.', about the same time.
Exeter, Devon, Cathedral church of St Peter: 'Liber ex dono Magistri Roberti Ryggh Cancellarii et Canonici huius ecclesie ad cathenandum imperpetuum in libraria communi eiusdem ecclesie' (fol. i v) (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).
