Summary
Nicholson undertook this trip for the International Biological Programme as Convener of the CT (Conservation of Terrestrial Communities) Section. It was a fact-finding visit covering conservation developments, land use and related matters. It is possible that Nicholson's trip was longer and included other South American countries, but documentation survives only for those named, (Columbia, Panama and Mexico).
Includes manuscript notes on the Columbian visit (2 pages dated 10 Feb 1964); 'Outline Report on Columbia February 1964', a manuscript draft.
