An autograph poem of Robert Burns 'on seeing a Louse on a young lady's bonnet at church ': beg. 'Ha ! whaur ye gaun ': composed in 1785 or 1786. It is in this poem that the words occur 'O wad some Power the giftie gie us | To see oursel as ithers see us.' In parts traced over with a pencil.
