Polished brown leather over pasteboards; the upper cover stamped in gilt with the Coke crest; the spine lettered in gilt 'ALBERTUS | super | XII | PROPHETAS || M.S. | AN. MCCCCLVI.'; the edges of the leaves speckled brown.
Provenance
Written by Mathias Harnischer, chaplain of St. Peter's, Basle , 1456: 'Explicit opus domini alberti quondam episcopi super duodecim prophetas scriptum manu domini Mathie harnescher cappelani in sancto petro bas[iliensi] Anno domini mccccl sexto prima mensis junij finitum Laus deo Amen.' (fol. 234r).
