Summary

Detailed accounts of the sums 'Paid by Mr. Henry Joynes' at Blenheim 'Castle' [palace] for building, landscape gardening, etc., including the work of carpenters, joiners and blacksmiths, including (fols. 9v, 29, 45v) the blacksmith Elizabeth Bennett. At fol. 15 are Latin and English copies of the inscription on the Blenheim obelisk [i + 47 leaves].
