Violin 1, fols. 1-13; violin 2, fols. 15v-27; bass, fols. 29v-41; basso continuo, fols. 43-55. Another hand began to copy Purcell's 'Golden Sonata' on fol. 13v.

iii + 59 leaves. Each part is a single quire of upright folio. Watermark, Fool's Cap, HG, somewhat resembling Heawood 2028. Ruling, 10 5-lined staves, red marginal ruling. Paste-down inscribed 'Burkenshaw'.
