Written in a fere humanistica hand

Decoration

Good initials, that on fol. 1 a later replacement. (Pächt and Alexander i. 399)

Binding

Polished brown leather, the upper cover stamped in gilt with the Coke crest; the spine lettered in gilt from bottom to top 'VEN. BEDÆ HISTORIA ECCLESIASTICA ANGLICANA'.
