"Here followeth the revelation whiche was shewede to seynt Methedius bisshoppe when he was in prison, and itt pleased Almyghtye God to revelate secretts to hym that were comminge to the Churche off Rome, and in espetiallye to all other churches and monastoriez through all Cristendome in generaltye aboute the yere off our Lorde God a m.v(c).xxxiv."
