Typescript text of the proceedings of the court martial trial in Pretoria in April 1901 of J. Spoelstra relating to accusations of the ill-treatment of Boer women and children by the British Army. With covering letter, 24 Nov 1902, to Hobhouse from W.T. Stead reporting that the text had been smuggled through British lines in a cocoa canister.
