According to the Sotheby's sale catalogue for 8th July 1957, this MS was 'owned in 1900 by the Director of the Top Kapl Sarayi, Istanbul, and was subsequently owned by MM. Claude Anet & C. Huart (author of Les Calligraphes et les Miniaturistes de l'Orient musulman, Paris, 1908).'
