'This is Robert Vaughan of Hengwrte ...'s booke :'it appears in the list of 'MSS. missing from the Hengwrt Collection', printed in the Archælogia Cambrensis (4th Ser. no. vi, April 1871, p. 133), as bearing the mark 116 in the Collection: the list states that the translation into Latin from Welsh is by 'Thelwallus', and that the handwriting is R. Vaughan's.
