Summary
Bound oblong copy of full score in a professional hand with performance markings in pencil and purple and red crayon. 64 numbered pages, not dated. There are two inscriptions on upper paste-down: one by William Sterndale Bennett 'Mr [Prosper] Sainton has the original score of this. I gave it to him - he conducted it at the Exhibition 1862' and another 'This duplicate score is the property of Sir Sterndale Bennett representatives' signed by James Lamborn Cock [publisher of vocal score, 1862].
There is a bifolio insert for No. 2 of 'alterations only' for strings by G.S. [?] [George Smart?].
