(fol. 1) 'Ci conmencent les Yeus du Paon ...': beg. 'Apres ce qualixandres': by Jacques de Longuyon.

(fol. 138) 'Ci... apres conmence le Rector [for Restor--E.W.B.N.] du Paon': beg. 'Seingneurs prince & baron': by Jean Brisebarre.

(fol. 161) At end:--'Explicit le Restour du Paon.' another form of the romance, possibly by the same author, beg. 'Quant Porrus ly indois.' [2 and 3 are one poem. A blank space (as in MS. Bodley 264), before a large illumination beginning a new page, misled the scribe into a false 'Explixit' on f. 161. The right 'Explicit' is on f. 182v. E.W.B. N.].

(fol. 183) A continuation of the romance, by one who mentions Symon de Lille as his master: beg. 'Seignurs roy prince': ends (a leaf or so having been lost), 'Et marciens la quarte ou honneurs su Florie.' [This is Le Parfait du Paon, by Jehan de le Mote: see Paul Meyer, Alex, le Grand, ii. pp. 270, 396. E.W.B.N.].

Douce has prefixed some notes on the MS.
