Provenance
Exeter, Devon, Cathedral church of St Peter (MLGB3: evidence of dicta probatoria, usually a secundo folio). Foerster (Exeter book, p. 28f.) wrongly identifies this with Leofric's gift, which is Bodl. 319. The Jerome was bound separately in s. xiv and is entered separately in the 1327 cat. (Oliver, Lives, p. 302). The incipit "quod sancti" agrees.
