The second half of Süheyli Efendi active 17th century 's history of Egypt, beginning with Selim I, Sultan of the Turks, 1470-1520 's war with the Mamluk sultans Qānṣūh al-Ghūrī, Sultan of Egypt and Syria, -1516 and Ṭūman Bāy, Mamlūk Sulṭān, active 1516-1517 and ending with the governorship of the Ottoman Ḳara Dāmād Muṣṭafā Paşa, -1628 . According to Ethé (1930: 1171) a large portion of this work folio 5a onwards is a direct translation of Ibn Zunbul, Aḥmad ibn ʻAlī, active 16th century 's Arabic work تأریخ وقعة الغوري Ta'rīkh waqʿat al-Ghūrī . — Multiple dates
