Summary
'Apollonius Analyticus' or Conic Sections by Thomas Strode, who matriculated from University college in 1642, in two volumes (MS. Savile 43 for volume 1), apparently never printed. The original bindings, now fol. iii in each volume, were (i) a grant of land from Dyer Symcock to John Welles of land in Clapton in Somerset, in 1592, and (ii) a lease from Thomas Strode, gentleman, to Richard Luffman of Maperton, yeoman, for £23, of a cottage and land at Maperton for 99 years: rent 18d.; dated Apr. 20, 1648.
