Protogothic; apparently one hand, presumably 'Marquart' (fol. 91rb).
Decoration
4-line painted initial in silver (oxidized) on a blue ground, with red outlining, fol. 3r.
Typically 2-line red ink initials with modest arabesque decoration at the beginning of each chapter.
Binding
Laudian binding of calf over pasteboards; sewn on five bands. Edges stained blue.
Acquisition
Part of his third donation to the Bodleian, 1639. Former Bodleian shelfmark J. 32.
Provenance
Medieval provenance unknown. Occasional 'nota' signs and clause-division added in leadpoint (e.g. fol. 14r-v).
Marginalia, c. 1400 (?), fol. 5r, tu autem domine miserere nobis.
