Summary
'Pauli Horosii presbiteri Aduersum Paganos libri numero septem' (from the colophon), preceded by an 'Argumentum' and prefatory letter to bp. Augustinus: each book is preceded by a list of chapters. On fol. 206v is, in a different hand (about A.D. 1100?), 'Nomina ciuitatum Gallię', in 19 provinces beg. 'In Italia. Roma. Rauenna ... 1. Prima Prouincia Lugdunensis habet ciuitates numero ν'): and on fol. 207v (12th cent.) 'Fulconi scolastico humilis frater Stephanus', a Latin letter on theological questions: beg. 'Questiones quas magnitudo uestra.'.

Hunc tibi Vincenti librum, martyr pie Christi, | Scribi fecerunt et prompta mente dederunt | Perpetis Vlricus spe fructus atque Rodulfus | Ordine corde loco fratres et origine carnis | Sub patre Folquino qui primus amore benigno | Hos aluit primisque adolescere ivuit ab annis; | Hinc Christo grates, laus dantibus et bona merces; | Gratia seruanti, maledictio diripientj.' Folcuinus was abbot of St. Vincent's at Metz from about 1048 till not later than 1078. Owned and signed as no. 20619.
