(fols. 23-7) Copy, dated 16 Sept. 1813, of a letter from James King, executor of John Fordyce, esq. to Mrs Norris, 30 Aug. 1813, relating to claims of the representatives of the late Henry Norris, esq. from His late Highness Ameer Ul Omrah, submitted for the consideration of the Commissioners appointed for the settlement of the claims of the Carnatic

(fols. 28-35) Miscellaneous research notes, including (fols. 28-9) an extract from the parish register of Warton, certified by the vicar, 11 Apr. 1808, relating to the Guy family of Yealand Conyers and the Hest family of Warton
