Made up of two MSS., comprising:
(fol. 1) Vegetius de re Militari, as far as bk, iii, cap. 6 ('attentus est miles etenim [?] superueni (ente impetu)').
(fol. 13) The letter of Valerius to Rufinus against marrying a wife, with a commentary: beg. 'Loqui prohibeor ... Hec epistola continet principaliter tria': at end, 'Finit', followed by some excerpts about marriage
(fol. 20v) 'Incipit Liber Valerii [Maximi] ad Tiberium ...': ex tracts from Valerius Maximus
(fol. 32) Alan us de Insulis De planctu Naturae: in prose and verse: at end, 'Explicit Alanus de planctu nature quod Thomas Beaulieu. Qui scripsit carmen sit benedictus. Amen.'
(fol. 59) 'Johannes vocatus Lemouicensis' de regia disciplina, in twenty letters, with preface: at end, 'Expliciunt Epistole Pharaonis, quod Thomas Beaulieu.'
(fol. 76) A treatise on the composition of a literary work: beg. 'Tria sunt circa que cuiuslibet operis versatur opificium': the hand changes at fol. 80v.
