The blue volume contains mainly pieces of prose and poems by Charles Morgan: the letters printed on the spine are M.L.M., indicating that it was probably owned by Morgan's sister, Mildred Morgan (1916-1920). The red volume contains newspaper articles by Charles Morgan, covering topics including the 1951 General Election and the death of King George VI (1947-1954).
