For soli [SATB], eight-part chorus [SSAATTBB] and orchestra'. Composed between Oct 1897 and Apr 1898. Dated at end April 5 1898. 'Submitted, together with the Concert-Overture in F minor, for the D. Mus. degree at Oxford, 1898'. With pencil and crayon annotations. The submitted copy is MS. Mus. Sch. Ex. c. 135. The present score includes a revised ending, made subsequent to submission. iii + 121 pages (numbered 59-170, pagination continued from the Concert-overture, which is, however, unrelated).
