Provenance
Possibly written for a Benedictine house in the diocese of Durham: cf. fols. 104v(?), 256, 261v, and in the calendar: S. Oswini regis et mart. dupl. festum in episcopatu dunelm. On fol.174v is his Mass. Foreign, i.e. not Sarum, influence is to be found in the proper masses of St. David and St. Chad; see rubric.
