Good initials in two styles. (Pächt and Alexander i. 694)

Larger initials mostly gold on grounds of blue and rose, with green marginal sprays, the flowers dotted in blue.

Smaller initials plain red and blue.

Binding

Typical Holkham binding of black leather; the spine lettered in gilt 'ORAISONS | FRANC' and 'MS'.
