Summary
A draft of the greater part of Thomas Martin's History of Thetford (posthumously printed in 1779). The first 16 or 17 chapters correspond to those printed: the rest is chiefly documents. At fol. 3 is a short paper about Fotheringhay: and fols. 123-161 are part of a draft of a long petition relating to the Seymour property which (apparently) descended to lady Elizabeth Seymour (d. 1696/7), daughter of Henry lord Beauchamp, and wife of Thomas Bruce earl of Ailesbury.

Custodial history
The introduction to the printed History (see above) shows that this volume was owned by mr. John Worth of Diss in 1774, and by Thomas Hunt a bookseller of Harleston in 1775, from whom Gough purchased it.
