Fine historiated borders (fols. 1, 127) to which afterwards arms have been added (see Provenance).
Fine initials: numerous gold initials on coloured grounds and finely executed flowers

Square notation on 10 staves of 4 or 5 red lines.
Provenance
Van Dijk suggested St Augustine's, Burgos, based on the kalendar (29 January, 30 April, 20 December) and the Augustinian character of the book. The dedication of the church or the cathedral is in the kalendar on 28 May.
Arms, fols. 1 and 127: barry nebuly gules and argent.

In the calendar there are a large number of Spanish saints: at May 28, 'Dedicatio ecclesie': at July 16, 'Festum sancte Crucis de nauis Tolose', i.e. probably Tolosa in N. W. Spain, not Toulouse. Heraldic arms have been added on fols. 1 and 127, barry nebuly gules and argent.
