Papers (mostly correspondence) relating to a trip to South Africa taken by Charles Morgan in 1952 to conduct research for an article commissioned by The Sunday Times on the contemporary political situation. Also included are three notebooks: one is Morgan's daily diary from the trip, Jun-Jul 1952; the other two notebooks include notes on South African politics and apartheid.
