Commonplace book inscribed 'Amélina' in ink on the front flyleaf. The watermark is from 1825 with entries from 1835-1867, with some retrospective ones back-dated to 1804. Contains poetry by a variety of authors with entries in various hands. First poem inscribed 'Cop[ied]. C.F. Feby 9.' Extensive historical text, unsigned: 'Lacock Abbey.'
