These sermons were bought with an interleaved English bible (Oxford 1679), which bears manuscript notes by Matthew Henry (d. 1714), and is now referenced Bib. Eng. 1679. e. 4-6. The whole was bought at Chester in April, 1798, by Will. Robert Hay, M.A., and was Purchased by the Library from Henry Stevens on Feb. 3, 1866, for £7 17s. 6d.
