Fine borders.
Fine initials. fol. 113r Type initial Subject Pink and blue initial on gold background, decorated with sprays of vine leaves and gold disks; head of Christ with cruciform halo (rubbed). Type border (upper, left and lower margins) Subject Border made of gold, pink and blue bars, decorated with foliage and gold disks (Penitential Psalms). Pink and blue initials on gold background and borders made of gold, pink and blue bars, decorated with sprays of vine leaves and gold disks on fols. 93v, 98r, 101r, 104r, 108v, 146v and 188r. Gold initials on pink and blue background with white arabesque and geometric designs; sprays of gold vine leaves extending into margins.
Blue and gold initials decorated with red and purple penwork.
Gold and blue line-endings.
Binding
Stamped leather on boards, injured. Original cover decorated with stamps associated with the Rood and Hunt Binder. Fragments of original binding applied to new cover.
