Hands
Written in a fine gothic formal liturgical bookhand, with 16 lines of text per page. Ruled in red.
Decoration
Large initials in red, pink, green and blue on gold grounds, each with a partial border of leaf design, on pages 1, 6, 99, the rest blue with red flourishes. (Pächt and Alexander iii, 1044)
Binding
Black polished leather; the spine lettered in gilt 'PASSION | OF | CHRIST'.
