Summary
Correspondence and papers regarding later reviews and recollections of the Hastings Rarities debate. In ?1995 Nicholson and I.J. Ferguson-Lees considered writing an updated British Birds article which was intended to summarise the Hastings Rarities story and put it into the perspective of ornithological history. It appears that they eventually decided to publish a letter rather than an article, though the publication details are unknown.
The principal correspondents are I.J. Ferguson-Lees and J.T.R. Sharrock.
Includes: correspondence regarding plans for the updated article and related to a BBC Open University Radio Broadcast, Aug 1995. Nicholson participated in the radio broadcast which covered the Hastings Rarities. Further BBC broadcasts on the subject may have followed this one.
