Summary
The following memorandum is prefixed to the volume: "The materials of this register were collected in good measure by the assistance and diligence of Mr. Peter Stutzer, vestry clerk, and then transcrib'd by him, as was the original plans of the estates that follow, drawn by Mr. Peter Chassereau, surveyor."
The plans were taken in the year 1746, and have references to a general plan of the parish taken in 1745. The register contains particulars of the money raised for a peal of bells in 1739 and of various gifts for the decoration and improvement of the church in 1740. It is probably a copy of the book prepared in 1745 by Dr. Denne, then vicar of the parish, and printed in 1777.
