Summary

At front of book, notes on Latin grammar and mathematics, in a young hand. At rear of book, notes on trigonometry, in a young hand. In centre of book, notes and diagrams on light, crystallography, polarisation, in Hodgkin's later hand. Work breaks off. Possibly 1930. This may have been begun Mar. 1927-Spring 1928 after School Certificate and during preparation for Somerville College Oxford (Ferry pp.32-33).
