Labour Party and trade union papers, including letter from George Lansbury, letter from Ernest Bevin regarding Brown's appointment as Area no. 1 General Trades Organiser, and papers relating to wages. 1937-1940

Trade union papers, including papers relating to wages, correspondence, and list of branch secretaries and shop stewards. 1940-1944

Political correspondence, including letters from Hugh Dalton, Arthur Deakin, Mont Follick, Tom Williams, George Dallas, Alan Cunliffe, Jock Tiffin, Frank Cousins, Herbert Bowden, Emile Bustani, Winston Churchill, and Harold Collison. Also includes note on breakfast and luncheon in the House of Commons for the Coronation of Elizabeth II, notification of Brown being sworn a Privy Councillor, and notification of Brown being sworn Minister of Works and First Commissioner of Works and Public Buildings. 1951-1958

Papers, including correspondence, memoranda, reports and speech notes.
