Good initials. (Pächt and Alexander ii. 245, pl. XXII)

Binding

15th century or 16th century?, Italian: wood boards, inside bevel, corners rounded; plain red silk, with thin green border at lower turn-ins (cf. MS. Canon. Liturg. 143); spine lost; evidence for clasp(s) and other metal-work compromised by later repair, perhaps a single lost clasp or strap-and-pin fastening and maybe other fittings; edges gilt, gauffered. Reback (probably not the first) and edge-linings in red leather, later 19th century, Bodleian. 116–117 c. 80 c. 50 (book closed).

At fol. 219 are the 'Settem Psalmi penitentiales', with Litany

The Calendar is Augustinian, and the occurrence in red of Stt. Domitilla, Theodora, and Euphrosina on May 7 points to Terracina: the first-named occurs also in the Litany. A leaf is lost after fol. 233.
