Summary

Album possibly collected by Rosamond Talbot, who is the most represented in it, along with other family members. Other pieces are contributed by artists outside the family, possibly a record of people they met in various long-term residences in the Lake District and in Scotland. Contains a watercolour 'Dormer Window at Lacock' by Amélina Petit (no. 42), very similar to some of William Henry Fox Talbot's negatives, and three views by Rosamond Talbot of Millburn Tower, near Edinburgh, where he conducted much of his photoglyphic engraving research (nos. 79, 84 & 85). Contained 102 images (6 now missing), some images replacing earlier ones, and a few pages cut out:
