Summary
'Epistolæ Thomæ [à Becket] Cantuariensis nondum impressæ', about 250 in number. They were copied 'e M.S. exemplari Richardi Henbrugg' [the last two words erased and the last very doubtful: for the two names are substituted 'H.R.']. At fol. 110 four documents are transcribed:
A letter from Henry ii to the English Church about the double papacy, 1159;
A letter from the same to the abbot of Citeaux, about 1165;
The will of st. Richard de Wyche, bp. of Chichester (d. 1253: from 'lib. E. fol. 165', a Canterbury archbishop's register?);
A notification by John Peckham, archbp. of Canterbury, June 8, 1288, of a bull of pope Alexander iv, Apr. 1, 1257, about attacks on the Franciscans and Dominicans (from the same register, 'pag. 231').
