Provenance
The abbey of Bury St. Edmunds: 'Eadmundo sancto pertinet iste liber et Dompno Iohanni W ulf spett' (fol. 196v, cf. 198r), and 'Liber dompni Iohannis Bardwell monachi sancti Edmundi' (fol. 197v), both 15th century.
Bookplate of 'THOMAS WILLIAM COKE'; inscribed with notes by his friend 'W.[illiam] R.[oscoe]' (fol. ii recto-verso); seen and described by M. R. James by 1921; formerly Norfolk, Holkham Hall, MS. 469.
