(fol. 36) fol. 36 are some copies of letters from Claudius Salmasius, 1620-37, in Latin and French

(fols. 45-124) Italian

(fols. 127-161) are drafts or original letters from D'Orville, 1736-44, in Latin and Dutch

(fols. 126, 129) are the documents conferring on D'Orville the membership of the Etrusca Accademia, 15 May 1728, and the honorary membership of the Societas Latina at Jena, 1751

(fols. 63-261) chiefly English letters to D'Orville, 1725-48, among which are some from Alex. Cuningham, 1726-9; Joseph Wasse, 1725-38; Jeremiah Markland (one, 1 Aug. 1732, cf. no. 17360, three in 1737)

(fols. 264-97) some letters to Jean D'Orville the son from Tho. Tyrwhitt, 1775-8; Jonathan Toup, 1755-70, and others.
