Summary

Commonplace book with contributions in French and English from William Henry Fox Talbot, Rosamond Talbot, Matilda Talbot and possibly others. 'Rosamond Talbot' is inked on the front flyleaf (two words effaced – possibly Chas Henry). Approximately the first 50 pages are by Rosamond (apparently 1850s). Approximately 50 pages are by Matilda Talbot, 1850s. Approximately 65 pages are from the 1860s, marked 'Caton (à Varèse 1823). H.F.T' [in French, not in William Henry Fox Talbot's hand]. Plus one entry from 20 November 1897, and blank pages.
