Summary
Incidental music to Racine's play Athalia, op. 74. Overture (fols. 1-5v) arranged for piano duet, and vocal score of the other music (fols. 7-32) with piano solo reduction. In the hand of Julius Rietz, who was responsible for the arrangement, ca. 1848. Used as the engraver's copy for the published editions (Leipzig: Breitkopf & Härtel, 1848/9). Ink score, with German and French words, and with corrections and engraver's markings in pencil. Fols. 12 and 16v have references to amendments on 'Beilagen', which are not present.
