Summary
Hodgkin was invited by IBM to speak at Yorktown Heights, New York as a Distinguished Lecturer. She spoke on protein crystals, following this by a visit to Yale University, where she gave a talk on her visits to China and North Vietnam. Hodgkin then travelled to Cornell University, where she had offered to lecture on either insulin or vitamin B12. From Cornell she went to Boston, and then to Harvard University.
