An erased ownership inscription, perhaps 13th-cent., in the upper margin of fol. 1r was read using UV light by N. R. Ker in 1943 as 'Iste liber est sancti Jacobi de pentecursus de padua'
Item 308 in a bookseller's catalogue, priced £15 15s.
The upper pastedown inscribed in a late 19th- or early 20th-cent (?)French hand.
Sotheby's, 4 April, 1939, lot 267, bought by Maggs for £4 10s.
Maggs Bros., with their acquisition note and price-code on the lower pastedown.
Inscribed 'N. R. Ker, 1942' on the upper pastedown; given by him, 1975. Formerly Dep. c. 297.
