Drawings made by F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy in the neighbourhood of Frankfurt during the summers of 1844 and 1845, in a book inscribed to him by E[lisabeth Wilhelmine] J[eanrenau]d, Jul 1844. His name, 'Frankfurt a. M. am Fahrthor bei Mme. Souchay. d. 11 Aug 1844' is on fol. i.
