Summary

The Preface, which is dated 20 Apr 1745, commences thus: "The following papers are faithfully transcribed from a little MS. collection which seems to me to have been first written in K. Henry VI. reign." The "Poyntis" (in number 16) to which the Lollards make answer begin thus: "The fyrst. The breade or the ost in the aulter sacride of the preast is not very Godys bodie, but it is the very same bread in kynde that it was before."
