Fine historiated and other borders. Type border, upper, left and lower margins Subject Vine-stem decoration, birds. In the lower margin two putti support a medallion left blank to be filled with a coat of arms.
Fine historiated initials. fol. 9r Type initial V Subject Half-figure of the author holding a book.
Fine other initials.
Binding
Pale olive morocco doublé, with some stamped gold ornament (early 19th cent. English work).
