Seven part-books and an extra bifolium, all now bound in one volume, iii + 60 leaves. Each part is a quire of 4 leaves within end-papers and a marbled paper cover. Watermark: Bend and lily, not in Heawood. Ruling: 10 staves of five lines, black margins at both edges. Fols. 54-55 are an upright folio bifolium; watermark Fool's cap, [resembling no. 364 in W.A. Churchill, Watermarks in paper in Holland, England, France (Amsterdam, 1935)]; ruling 12 staves of five lines, margins at both edges. Inscribed by Edward Lowe on the cover of each '22th 7 Bookes'.

Custodial history
This item is part of the Music School collection of printed and manuscript music, which was originally bequeathed to the University of Oxford by William Heather (c 1563-1627), and gradually added to until the end of the 18th century. The present manuscript was once owned by Edward Lowe.
Acquisition
The collection was transferred to the Bodleian in 1885.
