Summary

An abridgment, by William King, (with the omission of Cornwall) of sir John Doddridge's work published under the same title, in quarto. Lond. 1630.

At the end are added:

(fol. 21) A supplication presented to Hen. VI. in 1450 by the inhabitants of the county palatine of Chester; with the King's reply. Ormerod's Cheshire, (from King's Vale Royal,) vol. i. p. 99.

(fols. 23b, 30b) Confirmation of the liberties of the county palatine by Q. Eliz. 1568. (Two copies.) Ormerod's Cheshire, (from King's Vale Royal,) vol. i. p. 100.

(fols. 29b, 34) Notes of statutes relating to the county.

(fols. 34b, 35b) Notes on the Welsh counties; their extent, etc. At the end: "Finis coronat opus. William King, Sept. 21. 1676."
