Oriel College(?). 'Iste liber constat domino Bryggeman, magistro . . .'. What follows 'Bryggeman magistro' (s. xv) cannot be read by ultraviolet light since a reagent was applied, but below it is an erased list of fellows of Oriel College which can be mostly recovered: 'Magistri collegii de Oryell Ao domini 1474. M. Law s, M. Holket, M. Sampson, M.Alyard, M. Taylor, M. Drake, M. Lynche, M. Kerver, M. Hanley.' With the exception of Sampson (none of that name recorded at this date) all these men can be found in Emden, BRUO. The book is not identifiable in the 1375 Oriel library list, CBMLC, Oxford. On fol. 1 is Allen's number '20' (i.e. in the 4° section of his catalogue) and on fol. iii are the Digby/Allen inventory number 'A. 110' and Digby's motto and name.
